If you have a lighting circuit using the junction box method and you have 2 center lights in a room where one switch operates both lights. So turn on switch both lights come on.

Obviously your first light will have 2 wires running into it. !) from the junction box and the other connecting from the first light to the second center light.

So this is how i think it should go. The switch live goes to the switch live terminal in the rose the live to live terminaland the earth to earth terminal. The wire connection to 2 lights together live into live neautral into neutral and earth to earth. Your live from the light itself would go to switch live terminal and neutral to neutral terminal.

If that is the case as i haven't got the lights yet. Do all wall lights and ceiling lights have 4 terminals earth, live, Neutral and switch live.

Thanks for your help.

Your thinking is fine -check the pictures in 'for reference' if not already done...
sadly many wall lights dont have enough terminals for swithed lives etc, so either choc-block, or a proper rose or back box is needed. Best to read the instructions once you have them.
