Longtime spark and i wouldn’t generally go that way although nothing wrong with it

Creating hard to access joins

Simpler testing or troubleshooting when all terminating is done at “points “

Sorry, I think Taylor has the better idea as ceiling roses were never intended for 6 cables and faultfinding in them is a real PITA when that overcrowded.

I said surface led with space not ceiling rose

Anyway either method is acceptable and it’s a difference of opinion

In this particular case its 3-plate with branches

It’s simpler to troubleshoot or disconnect a fault on a branch there when it’s readily accessible rather than looking for joints

If there is access to the loft space,
as you have lorra wires,
largish junction box up there with just LN&E to the light is the best way.

I did this. Access in the loft is excellent so this seemed simplest, and easiest to maintain in future.
