Ceiling switch for extractor fan

Hi,

I'm installing an extractor fan over my shower, it is of the type where the motor is mounted in the ducting away from the shower area. What I want to know is what are the rules on positioning of the ceiling pull switch to operate the fan, I want it as near as posible to the shower cubicle.

The actual switch itself must be in Zone 3 or outside the zones. Rather than try and describe in words the boundaries of the Zones, see these for handy diagrams:
