We have just had our house re-wired and found that the colour codes for the wires have changed. It was a bit of a shock. (Ring Main)
We have tried to wire in a new light with a double switch and the colours dont make any sense. Also we found if you turn on the kitchen light the living room light goes off.

Light blue
Brown - ?
Brown - ?

On block 2 how do you tell were the brown cables go to make the light work and that it joins up with the 2nd and then 3rd lights we have for each room. We have tried several ways and it is getting us mad, it s the brown cables which are the problems.
We have found 2 live cables and two no live brown cables (cable test kit)
any ideas?
