I have an internal wall with a damp patch. I think the damp is due to not enough ventilation and heating. I am planning on removing the plaster from the effected area and re-plastering with cement based plaster (Thistle Dri-Coat).

My question is. Can I use the same plaster as the finishing coat or would I need a 2mm skim of finishing plaster on top of the Dri Coat stuff?
