Can you please suggest a ready mix mortar for pointing between garden paving?

Last lot I had, followed instructions but it never went really hard!!

Thanks

Don't use the one parts like sika pave fix, they just don't last.

Use a proper sand and cement mortar. You can buy it pre blended with the right quantities of sand and cement and then mix it up to the desired consistancy with water.

Then trowel it in and compact and strike it with a jointing iron.

I've just re-done my patio with Romex Rompox Easy and it was a doddle. No bending, no backache, no mess and it only took a couple of hours. It looks good and it's hardening very well 24 hrs on. I'm not at all handy with a trowel so thought I'd try it and I'm fairly chuffed with the results. The hardest part was the preparation - scraping out the previous failing sand/cement mix.
I think the purists will always recommend sand/cement and only time will tell how durable it is but I'm hopeful it will last long-term.
FYI - I got it from jointingmortar.co.uk - was the cheapest place I could find, not being in the trade.

I have used it previously on 2 jobs after a big local mftr were pushing it.

I have since been back to both 3 years later and its crumbling out and will be replaced this winter.

Not impressed.
