Hi all,

I’m redecorating the front door and door frame for the winter.

I’ve noticed there is a gap which runs between the brick step (outside the front door) all the way along the cill.

Now I think I should fill this but with what?

I’ve ordered Fischer DEC "Premium" Express Ready Mixed Cement Cartridge in Sand colour for the job, but as there is a dpm between the bricks and the cill, is this the correct course of action?

Thanks in advance

is that upside down....

I’ve taken the photo from inside, so I’m looking at it kneeling on the hallway floor cill side.

Here’s a photo of it taken from the outside.
