Hi Guy
I am getting a new cental heating fitted. How do i find out the electrical earthing of the radiators. I would like to test each radiator to determine if they are properly earthed.
I am using copper pipe but some of the joints have PTFE tape in them to stop the leaks.
Cheers

The rads will not require earthing unless any are in a special location, ie. bathroom which should be bonded up to hot and cold water pipes and all electrical circuits that are present in the bathroom.

Weather you boiler flow return pipes require bonded is another debatable question. If all pipes are within the equipotential zone, i.e the house then i would say no.
