Central Heating not working

Hi,

I have just moved in a new property and the central heating is not working. The Programmer attached to it is a Potterton EP2001. The buttons on the CH side of the controllers are not working , i.e. nothing is displayed on the monitor when i press the CH related buttons on the programmer. I am just wondering whether the fault is in the controller or anything else.

Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.

I was wondering whether to change the battery but changed my mind lateron as i thought if the battery was drained out then the HW controls wouldnt work either.

Now that you have mentioned it. I will get the battery changed and see how it goes!
