Hi, just a quick one for the plumbers here.
I want to add an extra radiator and just wondered if it matters whether the 15mm feeds come through the wall at the same level as the main flow and return pipes?
The main flow/returns are below the floorboards suspended under the joists, i can easily pass the feed pipes through the honeycomb sleeper wall and back up the otherside to the new radiator but this means dropping them down by about 15 inches (to the nearest hole) before going through the wall and coming back up the otherside and then bringing through the floorboards.
Is it preferable to drill through the wall at the same level as the flow/return pipes or does it not make a difference?
I'm happy to make extra holes if needs be, although I would need to lift more flooring for access, but don't want to make extra work for myself if it's not really a problem.
Thanks
Tony
