just moved into a house with an ideal s24 boiler, used for heating water fine for last few days, highered thermostat to put heating on for a while this eve but nothing, left on for abt hr and still nothing and no hot water, looked at boiler and the green light was flashing quite quickly, assuming this isnt normal but hadnt looked t it before so not sure what "normal" is. any info appreciated as i have no manual for this
thanks

Without more info its difficult to be too sure.

Check timeclock in "on" and rad valves open and isolation valves under boiler.

If so then with boiler totally cold measure the resistance of both of the NTC sensors. The CH one may be faulty.

Should be about 12k.

Tony

If the green light is flashing quickly, then the boiler has locked out with a fault.

You really need an RGI in to inspect and determine what fault exactly.
