Please help! My downstairs radiators wont warm up so after reading the forum I looked at the pump.I took off the middle screw and put in a screwdriver and was surprised to find it was working although hardly any water was in it -about the amount of a dripping tap.I have just noticed that the screw on the pipe leading into the pump is leaking slightly and wonder if this is the problem?I dont have much of a clue about heating systems but just cant afford a plumber!!!Thank you

How old is your system? If the pump is working there may be a blockage in the pipework which will rquire the system to be flushed clean.

and there speaks a voice of experience

last one i was silly enough to play with was on a coal fired crane boiler in easington

never again
