I have a floor standing Potterton Kingfisher boiler serving 9 radiators - what number should I have the pump on 1, 2 0r 3 - also I have just had a new 'torpedo' hot water cylinder fitted - the plumber left the thermostate on 'maxiumum' should this be turned down please ?

The pump should be on the lowest setting that enables the system to work.

The hot water cylinder thermostat should be set to about 60 degrees.
