My 10 year old Honeywell room thermostat has given up the ghost. I have purchased a Tower STRS1 thermostat.
I imagined the the wiring would be the same but it isn't.
The old Honeywell has an earth connection, no.1 has the red live wire, no.2 has a blue wire, no. 3 has a yellow wire with a red sleeve added by the electrician.
The new one has three terminals and the wiring diagram is no.1 supply, no.2 N/O (heating), no.3 (cooling).
Can anyone tell me which wire goes where on the new stat?
