Hi Everyone
This is my first posting so I hope you will bear with me...

A couple of weeks ago I managed to hole one of the central heating pipes while hanging a mirror (I blame the wife's directions personally)!!

The hole was repaired by a qualified plumber using a compression joint.

I bled all of the radiators and thought all would be ok...

However, now when the central heating starts up, for the first 2-3 minutes, it sounds like gallons of water is pouring into our airing cupboard from the tank in the loft above!!

I am a total novice so I would appreciate any help/advice you can give.

Also, if there is any further information I can supply, please let me know..

Thanks in advance for your help

Cheers!
Davey :)

Sounds like you still have air in the system. There is also a bleed valve usually by the side of the pump. Turn the c/h off and bleed that too. After that you may have inuced more air into the rads again so redo those too.
