I have an Ideal Classic gas boiler. We live in a ground floor maisonette and have a combi boiler.

Recently I have noticed that when the control unit is set to "heat water only" the radiators are also coming on. This seems only to happen when the water is being heated.

Nothing has been changed for 2 years. We also notice we only get a limited supply of hot water but this has been the same since we moved in.

Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks for prompt response.

After consulting my partner it does seem the amount of hot water has decreased.

If it is the "Sticky Valve" you mention,Is it a big job and on average how much do you think it will be to fix?

Thanks again,

depends really on where it is etc

Usually I can change a honeywell three port on the first floor of a average house in under an hour.
