hi my name is perry by trade a painter and decorator at present a lorry driver. i live in lancashire, and now to make u all feel sorry for me i have three chidren a money spending machine called sarah five horses one dog one rabbit one ferret and god knows how many fish. i have major problem with my heating we have a baxi free standing boiler hot water is great heating has died i have bled every rad in the house this happened last week then it started working again. i cant locate the central heating pump my wife thinks it will be with the boiler in the kitchen i thought they were by the hot water tank. can anyone please help !!!!!

i am thinking of holding an pump finding day the prize for the first person to find it will be well i think i will keep that bit a secret as no one would turn up but how about a clue to the prize or three prizes the first is six the second is five and the third is three today and driving me mad

A prize for the model would be handy

GC number is not listed under Ideal boilers

try again there will be a plate inside the door see if you can spot another number

Any idea of the age

whilst were looking have you check the pump, and do you have any Motorised valves, room stats etc

all i can tell u is that the boiler is about 3ft tall only has one dial a thermostat knob that goes from 1 to 6 the front just pulls off there is a little window to view the pilot light a small plate with g c no 41-077-25 and fs 601s rs and a serial no and heat input and output figures. i have looked all around the boiler and upstairs by the hot water tank for the dam pump. there is a lifestyle LP 522 controller and a drayton digistat in the front room. about three months ago we put a fish tank in the room and the tank hides the digistat could that affect the heating, tho it has worked up until about two weeks ago ?

haha have found the pump sat above the boiler just going to thrash it for hiding from me (if i can get to it)

Probably already trashed

Undo the bigscrew in the center ( some water will run ) and give the little screw in the hole a twist to check its free running.

top cover pulls up for access ( I think )

Still have no gc number thats matches not bad out of about 500 :? :?

it is very hard to get to but i managed to undo big screw. because of the position of the pump i could not see inside so i stuck a screwdriver in cant feel a screw but it was like putting a screwdriver to a fan if u no what i mean

also the pump is red hot and would it be for the hot water to if so why is water hot and rads not?

it would appear so and it must be working to heat the water i did hear a wooshing noise when i turned the heat and water on. would it be worth putting a hose on the rad and bleeding the whole lot
