is the following true?

If you just use one radiator it is not good for the heating system and it could break down. I.e the pumps because damaged?

I have 9 radiator and all of them are off expect 3.
Just want to make sure it is OK to run it like this.

I don't want my CH pump damaged

You've turned off most of your radiators, why not just turn off your CH?

No it's fine to use just one radiator if you just want to heat one room.
If that radiator has a thermostatic valve on opening it fully if you have all the other ones off.
