I will be grateful for advise and help on the following.
My system comprises the following:
1.Boiler profile potterton 100eL- situated in the Kitchen on ground floor.
boiler and 10 radiators- 7 years old- all rads have trv bar two in bathrom.
2.Hot water cylinder-Grundfos 15-60-F&E tank-mains tank ALL in Loft.
Need help with the following.
a. How often should the system be drained.
b.any problems if feed with softened water? any advantage or disadvtage.
c.Is it ok to to set this boiler to Max for winter.
d. the last radiator added to the system in the extension does not get hot like others only gets Warm+ have been through the forum and faq on this one and tried all that was advised but am strugling. The only thing different about this rad is that the inlet valve(nonTrv) is always warm unlike others which are hot to touch.1. faulty trv.2. faulty valve.3.tired pump.4.pump not powerful enough since last two monts has been running speed 3 othervise the boiler does not work. 5. Does the warm pipe mean anything.? thanks again for all the people on this website.ih
