We have some lever type taps with ceramic disc 'washers' in them fitted to our bath, and the hot tap will no longer turn off.

I have taken the tap assembly to bits and found a few bits of plastic have snapped off, so i need a replacement tap top.

The taps are about 4 years old, and were bought from 'the big orange shed'

Could someone reccomend an online supplier of the bits i need, and is it likely to be a standard fitting?

You can buy standard ceramic tap valves from most merchants, but there is no gaurantee they will fit .

The simplest answer is to replace the taps with a known brand so that you can maintain them in the future, but you could try Lunns first:

www.lunns.net/tapspares/

When I can't avoid choosing taps for a customer I buy a pair of valve bodies at the same time, so that I know I have spares in stock for that tap when they're eventually needed. If the supplier won't/can't supply the spares then I don't buy the taps.
