Ceramic Hob

Hi

I have a ceramic hob that has been used twice, it has blistered under the surface does anyone why.

A photo by any chance? If you've only used it twice, it'll be under warranty.

Did you have the hob on without a pan on it? I believe that the instructions for ceramic hobs state that they should not be on without a Pan on it.

Where did you get that from? Do you mean induction hobs? If so, the OP doesn't have one of these. A bog standard glass top ceramic hob! I have a ceramic hob and its ben left on with no pan on many a time!
