OK we have a stone floor with the waist coming out the wall at about 2" need to raise the shower tray Up I think by 5" to allow for the waist Trap and to keep the waist pipe from runing uphill.

Was thinking 8 bricks cemented to the floor and then a timber frame on top.
Would I then need to put a bit of board on top of the frame.
How would I adjust the Level of the tray ? Wedges between the frame and the bricks?

How would I finish the gap between he tray and floor?

make a proper wood surpport with wood base then it will surpport the whole tray not just the corners.

well if it is actually solid heavy ceramic - then build up a solid bed on bricks and sand/cement , just leaving a small area for the trap . level it into the final bed of pug. ;)
