CH combi without programmer - need new stat

Hi guys

My combi does not seem to have a programmer, only a stat. I would like to have some kind of stat I can control when away, a simple on / off via the internet.

Can anyone recommend what I need to do?

You won't get a simple on and off via the internet, the ones you get are programmable room stats. Well in saying that you could get a plug unit that that is just an on and off that's controlled via the internet to switch the boiler on and off but that would just be convoluted and a farf and could cause more problems.

Get someone in to install a web controlled programmer.

There are devices that allow ON OFF control via telephone call to a land line phone and when the devices answers the phone you key in a code to cntrol relays. No internet required

One such device is THIS self assembly kit.

Ready made devices that are approved for use on UK land lines are also available.
