My control pack,a horstmann, did not include a wiring box.
As I cant seem to find anywhere that sells horstman boxes would any manufacturers one do?
Anyone know of a supplier of Horstmann WC1 ?
What about a 2-gang socket box with a 12 way terminal strip connector inside it and a blanking plate fitted on top?

first off yes a double box with lid is fine but it is normal to have 10 way connector not 12 on a 2 zone system (C/H & HW)

you can buy this already made up from Screwfix etc.

a better alternative is the drayton wiring center again available readily, plumb center stock them.

avoid the ones with fuse in them.

Thanks!

Could you elaborate regarding the fuse situation and also why the drayton is better.

Screwfix claim this pack is "easy fit"!

A standard Honeywell wiring center is only about £3 from any merchants.

It's only a terminal stirp in a plastic box.

Just follow the standard Honeywell wiring guide and it will be very easy. Wiring by numbers so to speak.

Honeywell also do a pe-wired electrinic jucnction box which has a fuse in it. I assume this is the one Kev is refering to and suggests avoiding ;)
