Chaffoteaux 30FF boiler problem

The 6 temp lights on my boiler (Chaffoteaux 30FF)are flashing and the boiler has tripped out,I can reset the boiler and it will go for a few days OK then it happens again. I have noticed that the fan switches off at the same time as the flame, not sure but i think the fan usdto stay on for 20 secs or so after the flame went out, could this be the problem?

how long should the fan stay on after the boiler is up to temp and he gas goes off?

You need to check what the flashing lights indicate. The manual should help.

there are 6 lamps flashing and it only goes upto 5 lamps flashing in the book, been on to the mamufactures and they say that they have not had 6 lamps flashing before.
