I am putting up some vertical timber cladding. according to the TRADA guide I should use treated batten with a chamfer to move any moisture ingress away from the cladding.

Does anyone know if you can get treated battens already chamfered, I can do it myself but then I would be leaving untreated wood exposed.

You would typically chamfer this out of some 2x2 tanalised, and then a quick coat of preservative if need be - but not always required. Use a circular saw

With vertical cladding the recomendation is to fit vertical batons with horizontal counter batons. The horizontal batons should have a 15 degree chamfer to move any moisture away from the cladding and into the void.
