Change Hive Controller to Sunvic TLX9201

This is for a friend of mine ... he's hoping to remove an Hive controller from a Vaillant Combi Boiler and replace it with a Sunvic TLX9201 Room Stat.

He'd be grateful of help with the most straightforward method of changing the wiring over.

You won't be able to over simplify it

What version of Hive are you referring to? For a combi it would normally be the 'single channel version'. And what wires are presently connected to which Hive terminals. A photo of the wires at the Hive would be good, as there is more than one way of wiring a Hive to a boiler.
