Hi,
We moved into a house that has a gas double oven (bottom oven plus grill) and a gas hob on top of the work surface. The uneven heat distribution in the oven is annoying me so i want to change the oven for an electric one but still keep the gas hob (whether it be the same one or a new one).
What is involved in getting it changed and how much of it can i safely do myself?
We already have a cooker socket built in so hoping that the wiring is already there.
The main thing is cutting of the gas supply to the oven. As its still required for the hob is there not something simple that can be done here? Such as turning two outlets into one?
Thanks
