Just moved into a new house with a very depressing downstairs loo. Will rip the whole thing out and start again. First timer but have 2 other loos in the house so don’t mind if it takes weeks.

Question is: can the position of this toilet be changed so the cistern is on wall 1 instead of wall 2?

I imagine a bendy waste pipe would be needed. But would it block… and would there be anyway of hiding it?

Maybe I’ll live with the toilet in its current position…

You could, but would need a few fittings rather than a flexible connection. I’d personally keep it where it is.

If you go for it then don’t use flexible wc pan connectors as you’ll most likely get a visit from the rats.

Not into rats, so will avoid.

But what do I use?

But what do I use?
Soil pipe fittings and soil pipe. Above ground stuff, one 90 or there about bend with 1/2 45 degree bends and a pan connector and include clips.
