I must be loosing my mind...

I also want to replace my old dial thermostat with a digital display (non program) one. I have a 3 core cable at the thermo....I presume live /neutral/switch....with a conventional boiler...not combi.

Will any thermo work with this...?

Looks like standard 3 core...Red/Blue/Yellow..into Potterton room stat. Marked Live/neutral/Heating. I would assume that live/neutral is to "power" the stat and the yellow is the on/off wire to call for heating...or not ?
