Changing an isolating valve

Hello All,

I have an old rusting isolating valve that I want to change. It is just past a bend where the pipe goes into the shower. The other side of the valve is the pipe going through into a cupboard. There is only about 10mm of play in the pipe.
Is this enough to change for a new valve?

Any help would be great

Give it a try and see ,if you cant replace a section of the pipe.
