Hi I'm changing over some older lights both bathroom angled lights to spots, as well as some ceiling lights to spots. These will be fixed and flat suitable for bathrooms.
Old system is Norfolk homes 95. Looking at using WAGO to replace white plastic terminal blocks some of which are taped over with insulating tape. What type WAGO should i use and will they also need to be placed inside a box? and if so what type?
Thanks Rep

Yes, you’re not allowed to just shove wagos or terminal blocks into the ceiling void - though it is often seen.

Have a look at these:

There are lots of options, either designed to fit wagos or with built-in wago-like terminals. The Ashley maintenance free boxes have been recommended a few times on here. You do need to consider how much space you have in the ceiling.

Type, it depends on how many conductors you need to join. The Wago 221 series comes in a variety of sizes. House them in a Wago box. 221-4
