Electic shower is being replaced with a power shower ( all in one unit)

Would it be ok to use the existing power supply and just change the dp switch for a 3 amp fused switch ?

outside the bathroom you could. leave the switch where it is and take a feed to the SFCU outside the bathroom (making sure all cable is adequatly protected against overload)

What do you mean by the above.

Existing dp switch is already out side the bathroom

make sure that you use the same size cable upto the SFCU, do not use 2.5 from existing switch to SFCU. you can use 2.5 after the SFCU since the cable wil be protected again overload. but since the existing switch is outside, it makes it easier. i would recommend you leave the wxisting switch in just in case you every decide to go back to an electric shower

no need for the SFCU just swap the breaker at the CU for an appropriate rating.
