Can I (as an individual with no electrical qualifications) change light fittings or switches for a third party. I am not sure if legislation bans simple things like this. Thanks in advance!!

If it falls outside of PP anyone can do it and for reward (if your lucky)

but theres liability insurance to think about there. does this only matter if its done for reward?

I suppose it all depends on who your doing for and if it falls into the private work category. If its one of your mates or someone you know and things go wrong your unlikely to end up in court. If on the other hand it's joe public and they think there paying full price then you would be mad not have insurance.
