I'm planning to change our built-in electric oven to one with pyrolytic cleaning that requires a 32A supply. The present oven supply has a 16A Hager MCB. is it OK simply to change this for a 32A MCB ? ...or do I need to run a heavier cable to the oven? Does anything else need changing or checking? Please advise.

Many thanks

You will almost certainly need at least a 4mm cable to the oven, to power a 32amp supply, possibly a 6mm if any part is enclosed in conduit or trunking etc. Do NOT uprate that MCB without checking the cable first!
