Hello

Am changing the front pads on a mondeo 18.00ltr year 2000. Have taken the old ones off and put the new ones on. How do I bleed them?

Thanks!!!

They should not require bleeding if you have done the job correctly.
Unless of course you opened the bleed nipple to let fluid out while pushing the pistons back into the callipers?
Does the brake pedal feel spongy? if so, there is air in the system, and the brakes will require bleeding.

Also new pads do need to bed in, no harsh braking for the first hundred miles or so.

Give the new pads a little while to bed in and the pedal feel should return...if you didn't open any bleed nipples, then there's no need to bleed afterwards. However, it is a good idea to replace the brake fluid every couple of years. Cheers John
