We are considering building a full width 2 storey extension to the rear of our property. We already have a shallow pitched roof on our house, and in order to keep below the original height of the house it would appear we have to make the pitch even lower as my property is wider than it is deep. My question is do you think the council would object as the extension pitch will differ from the main house. we are mid terraced if that makes any difference.
Sorry about the vagueness but we are new to all this. Thanks :)

It should be, its just that its shallower as its being spread out an extra 9ft. my house is 19ft deep and 28 ft wide. :)

Make sure you are aware of any local planning guidance policies/documents that relate to household extensions. You should be able to find them on your LPA's website.
