Hello, I am having the Bathroom done and would like to change this style of toilet to possibley a closed coupled one? If not then a unit to cover the cistern?. An advantage I have I believe, is that the exit pipe from the bowl does not go directly into the floor. Hopefully the photos are sufficient.

Looks like it shouldn’t be a problem for a Close coupled, you may need a space saver pan connector.
