chase along wall (not up or down)??

"cannot" is a strong word there Jez...

the NICEIC recomends 300mm as I understand but there is no set distance in the regs..

people used to use the "arms reach" rule and some even used to say a meter or more...

the length of appliance cords exceeds 300mm and it's just as easy to plug the toaster in and have it on the draining board as on the worksurface...
 
good point there coljack must read my osg again im sure on the course our teacher said what i wrote was right i will also look in the green book cant remember what it's called as it's on the job site jez
