I'm looking for a value for money core drill plus bits - for occasional use drilling waste pipes etc up to about 127mm through brick and stone. Anyone any experience?

Thanks

that's a pretty serious tool to be looking for a cheap one? you may be better looking second hand.

It's a bit of a problem cheap and functional in this area of work don't combine.

Probably cheapest thing to do is hire.

Ditto, buy cheap and you will get cheap, simple as that. They'll wear out fast and probably be slower cutting as well. Hiring is the only way for occasional use
