Cheap easy way to make stairs look good.

Dont want full carpet. Want something a bit different and creative

Top stair has carpet but want to do something with that also.

As a sort of experiment, I've clad our stairs in LVT. As to whether it's "looking good" or not, the jury's still out.

That's cheapest and easiest.

Painting it would be cheaper as Johnny said, i took up my carpet last year, and used non slip stair treads from Amazon because the house Rabbit kept slipping on the painted tread, make sure you prep the stairs well before painting.
