Cheap to run potable heaters.

Our central heating pump has gone and it will cost 3 grand for a new system (which we need). We haven't the money and need some kind of electric backup heaters that are the cheapest to run.

I hear those oil ones are quite good as well as halogen. Can anyone recommend anything ?

there was me thinking a pump was around £80 'are you talking the circlulation pump!!!!

what about this heater warm the room up fairly quickly and stop on the thermostat

i have 2 off the ones at the bottom you can set the temperature from 3 to 32

cheap to run means inneficiant and unable to reach a comfortable temperature quickly if at all
