Hi, i have to board my shed,19mm and 9mm plywood. I have been looking on utube and everyone seems to recommend an impact driver. Looking around they seem to be quite expensive.
Are they worth the investment?
Is there a good value recommendation?
Cheers
Rich

once you buy into a cordless system, be aware, that would most likely tie you into a system brand , as you would want batteries to go between any future cordless tools.
are you planning a lot of future jobs? which may require additional tools

I like the 3 speed dewalt impact driver and have needed to use on all 3 settings frequently for different jobs

thanks guys, i've watched a few vids and have decided to not buy an impact driver at the minute. I only have the one job, insulating the shed, atm so cannot really justify spending on one, after having bought a circular saw. I have two cordless drills, so i will drill pilot holes with one and drive with the other.

Other than their power, impacts are much better for your wrists. Combis often catch.

after spending too much time and effort with the drill and driver on some small bits i decided to take the plunge and bought the erbauer yesterday, can't wait to get started with it.
thanks for the help and advice.
