Cheaper extra long blind pop rivet

I am on the hunt for some blind rivets, and I have found a few online, but these seem to cost a fortune, especially when compared to a regular size rivets.

You can buy a mixed set of approximately 1,000 rivets for £5-8 maybe extra for delivery. On this same side, I seem to find it hard to come across the extra long ones, there are a few on amazon, but they seem to cost around £20-40 for 10-30 rivets.

Why are rivets that are just 10mm longer than the longest in the set, costing £1-£2 each.

I need at least 40mm max 50mm x 4 or 4.8 diameter. I need approximately 15. If you know where I can get some please let me know.

Otherwise is there away to make a longer version at home? Aka a diy hack?


Why are longer versions so much more expensive?

I need to rivet clips to a knee walker so I can attach my crutches, I need to add some attachments to both the knee walker and the crutches. May need to add clips to my wheelchair.

I have edited and shows why I need longer rivets.

I need to attach clips to my knee walker, my crutches and possibly my wheelchair, but may not be required until I have my next surgery, but I am still recovering from the latest so that’s a good year in the future. Each clip is approximately 35mm deep.
