Cherrywood solid wood flooring

Hi All,

We have inherited approx 28 m2 of cherrywood floors as per attached image. It is not our style, however it has been very well-laid and is solid wood.

Other than lifting it and selling it what would our options be to keep the flooring but change the look of it?

I’d be in more of a hurry to get rid of the “wooden beams” on the ceiling!

I suggest you put some furniture in there and a big rug / expensive persian carpet in the middle and see what you think in six months.
