Hi sorry if this has been brought up before. I got my chimney dropped below roof level in April, I was wondering how best to ventilate it with winter coming up as I can't find anything concrete.
Its an internal chimney which runs through middle of the house and ends in the loft, it has 2 flues and is currently just open to the loft and the ground level vents are shut as I didnt want warm air travelling upto the loft.
I've got conflicting info so I was just wondering if I need to seal and insulate the remaining brick stack in the loft? Do I need to add any vents to the remaining stack in the loft or open up any vents below?
Thanks for any advice
