Along with the proper installation of a log burning stove, an information plate should be installed by the stove or in the meter cupboard.

There is plenty of self explanatory info required on it, but I was after some more clarity on chimney designation and appliance designation.....

But shouldn't you be not only competent to do the install, but competent to fill in the plate about the install you have done?

I've been very careful to follow a range of guidance and feel I've done/will do a job equally as good as any registered installer. Doing it yourself and getting it signed off is just another way of installing a stove whilst saving some money over a HETAS engineer.

Simply looking for some clarity on the info plate.
