At the time as the details came out, I thought our supermarkets will be thinking "if they got away with it, then so can we"
Also the judge asked if this could have been prevented, and he was advised that the unfit chicken could have been dyed with blue permanent ink. So he recommended that this action was adopted.
AFAIK, unfit chicken is still not dyed to make it unusable, and I'm sure our supermarkets have adopted these crooks methods, albeit being more hygenically. And they would be very unhappy with unfit chicken being dyed blue.
So are we already eating chlorinated chicken?
