Choice of new boiler/combi unit?

Hello, is there a good resource somewhere that lists the bad points about the combi units (condensing) available?

A colleague is needing a new one & is looking at whats available for an RGI to install for him.

Very helpful posts - number 38 has the info you are looking for. I've just got a new boiler myself, went for a Worcester Bosch in the end. Most of the quotes I had were for Worcester, Glow Worm or Vaillant.

Personally I think you can't beat the Vaillants, you pay for what u get. . . .
