Are you using gas or oil down there in the south Atlantic?

Whisper in NZ make a gas fired Micro CHP unit. Have a look for that too.

Powergen/EON have been installing them in the UK but I have heard absolutely no feedback on them.

This is in Cumbria ...lol the Falkalnds is where I buried the wife!!!!!

I did hear rumours that a Dutch company was launching one soon, can't remember which one it was though

I'll have to check my ATAG stuff, it may have been them. After all, if you want to spend out on chp you might as well go for the best and if it is them, then it will be the best ;)

Theres a Dutch company called DE DIETRICH but not sure what their CHP's like.

And I dont think theyve dug up the two sisters yet looking for the body!!!!!! Whoops... given the game away now ... gonna have to move again!!!

Well if the Dutch are in it, then I'm sure a quality company such as Vaillant won't be far behind.

If they are and it is up to their normal boiler quality then we will be spoilt for excellent choice:cool:

Look at a the Dutch Broag Avantaplus 35C or 39C combi. The 39C is £917 inc VAT, that is very well priced for a 40kW boiler.

Look at the combi options pages 17 to 21. The outside senors etc, are extra.

Have a Magnaclean on the return to the boiler. That will prevent any blocking up of the tubes in the heat exchanger.

The Broag, has a 5 year guarantee. They use primarily industry standard components and little plastic with Honeywell brass hydroblocks. The Broags are better quality than Vaillant and much cheaper. They are a well priced
quality boilers having a superb control system with integrated outside weather compensation and OpenTherm protocol control. Buy the outside weather temperature sensor and use weather compensation - great comfort conditions and economy. You will not look back.

If only there was someone who knew about such complex things, an engineer perhaps? (but with no practical experience whatsoever). Where is such a man? We need you!
